The goals for this project are:

  1. To determine all of the schema.org+LRMI+a11ymetadata properties for the DAP profile (some will not have analogs) - done
  2. To map out the rest of the accessibility properties into the second column (since we support more properties and media types) - done
  3. Then to determine the name for the tag that would appear in our tag names (the user friendly name for the schema.org property)- done
  4. Finally, Design mockups of the screens to display this (our "nutrition label") for the various content types, in priority order from left to right.  These mockups are, for now, just done as tables in wiki markup, but will
    1. Accessibility Metadata Document Accessibility Profile (was started, but never completed)

The STEPP project at Georgia Tech has created a single page description of the accessibility properties of a document of file (their sources are primarily book-oriented, not other formats like applications web pages and video that accessibility metadata handles). They call this their Document Accessibility Profile (DAP), and an overview of the project and some sample labels can be seen on their project home page. People have compared the DAP to a nutrition label for books.

Below is a crosswalk of Document Accessibility Profile and Accessibility Metadata
