1)  Reasons to Release a book

In some cases, you may need to release a book.  Here are some possible reasons:

      *  The scan has a problem which you are unable to fix, but the problem is one that could be fixed
by a volunteer who has access to a physical copy of the book.

      *  You checked out a book by mistake!

      *  The book requires a more experienced volunteer.

      * You are unable to proofread the book after downloading it, due to unexpected personal
         circumstances.

      *  You decide you are not interested in the book and prefer to let another volunteer proofread it.

3)  Please notify Bookshare if your book has a "Hold for" and your name on it!

No one else will check out this book, and it will remain in the Checkout List if the book has a
Hold for and your name on it.

Please let us know if this is the case so we may remove your name from the book and reassign it.
       THANK YOU FOR THIS!
